This lemon butter feels great on the skin, it’s excellent for putting on your dry bits as it is very moisturising. It doesn’t sting, it just hydrates. The fragrance is subtle and not overpowering and the cream is great to use.

When I think of body butters I tend to think of a tub of very rich, creamy product and this is the first time I had seen body butter in a tube. I found that the product was obviously more liquid than the usual body butters, otherwise you wouldn’t have been able to get it out of the tube, but it was still richer than a standard body lotion.

The lemon aroma I thought that might be quite revitalising, especially in the morning when I need all the help I can get! In reality it was a little disappointing as it was quite light and it soon disappeared. The body butter itself actually works well and I find it very nourishing, especially on areas of dry skin. I liked the fact that it comes in a tube because it allows you to be more measured in how much use as opposed to getting a handful out of a tub. Also it is easy to put this in my handbag and take it out and about if needed.

This is more of a rescue product than an all over body moisturiser so the 60ml tube should last a fair while. The price seems fair for a nourishing product and, although I wish the lemon scent was stronger, I think this is a good product and I would certainly have it again.

The Lemon Superfood butter is a gorgeous product. It is thick and creamy with a distinctive lemon scent. It rubs in well and doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the skin. It really soaks into the skin. I have been using it predominantly on dry elbows and arms and I am already seeing a difference after just a few days.

If you like strong lemon smells then this is the product for you. Personally, I found the smell refreshing and it is great to use as a hand cream as well.

This unique formula brightens and smooths your complexion, leaving you with a dewy, healthy and natural glow.

This little tube of balm might be expensive but it certainly gives good results! It can be used as a moisturiser on the face, as a cleanser on the face, or as a balm on dry areas of the body. I got it to use on my hands because I have dry patches on my palms and between my fingers from washing them so much, and I’m not finding normal hand creams to be much help. This balm has made a big difference really quickly, decreasing the flaky skin and leaving my hands feeling soft and soothed. It has a wonderful zingy smell too. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with patches of rough skin.

This is a lovely rich, lemon smelling body butter to use on any dry skin areas of the body.

It comes in a plastic tube and you get 60 ml of the product for £14.90 so it is not a cheap product.

The product is 96% natural – not sure why it can’t be 100% !

The main moisturising ingredients are shea butter, almond oil and coconut oil as well as plant-based oils like seabuckthorn and grape seed,.

It is full of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins to repair and protect the skin.

The lemongrass gives a wonderful aroma fresh and herby with a hint of lemon.

This is a product that you can use on any part of your body or face – anywhere you feel is dry and needs some extra nourishment.

  6. Alex

Superfood all in one rescue butter, vegan free, cruelty free and 98.58 natural. It has lemongrass oil in it, high in vitamin c and a, it brightens and provides antioxidants to protect and smoothe and replenish dry skin.
It has coconut oil to provide moisturizing qualities and glycerin, a great humectant, aso moisturizing.
It smells lovely at first, really lemony and fresh, but this soon disappears. It feels nice and thick to rub in and leaves a whiteness that sinks in quick enough. It hasn’t left my skin in a wonderfully soft moisturized way later on unlike some creams. I wouldn’t purchase it again at this price, nice but not nice enough to charge £14+!

This is such a lovely cream. It comes out very thick and takes a bit of effort to work in. It feels at first as though it’s quite heavy but it absorbs into my skin quickly and leaves no thick or sticky residue. It leaves my skin so soft. The scent is lovely and citrusy but not too strong

smells amazing lemon fragrance rubs in well and left no sticky feeling really worth the money

Skin Superfood Lemon Rescue Butter: This is a use anywhere rich, creamy moisturiser. Its suitable for hands, body even face and is predominantly a rescue cream for dry/sore areas of skin. As it comes in a tube easy to put in your handbag and take with you.

I’ve been using on my hands – too much gardening takes it’s toll and I work hard to keep hands from drying and cracking. This cream is thick but spreads over skin easily and absorbs quickly, it starts to soften skin almost immediately and provides very quick relief to tight dry skin – it actually does come to the rescue!
The best bit is its zingy lemon smell which is beautiful and fresh, almost good enough to eat…

Nicely packaged, the tube comes in a box and is well presented so could past muster as a gift if required. It’s a little pricey but it does go a long way as only a little is required and I think as a rescue cream it’s probably worth the money.

This lemon butter is perfect for any dry skin that you have!

It’s a good consistency and soaks in well – also leaves you skin smelling fresh and sweet! I have dry elbows and find that this helps it immensely.

Natural ingredients and great value as it does exactly what you need it to

This smells really nice and is handy to use as it’s a multi use balm. It can be used as a face cream or hand cream or even a little bit on the ends of your hair to smooth split ends

  17. Roland Cassard

This is an amazing moisturiser. The cream itself is thick and pleasant to rub into problem areas – I use it primarily on my hands, elbows and knees. The cream rubs in quickly without leaving an oily residue and leaves the skin nourished, highly moisturised and soft to the touch.

Add to that the scent! The cream has a lovely zingy lemon scent that manages not to be synthetic-smelling, or cloying, or smelling of cleaning products: the scent sings as you rub the cream in and just smells appealing and special – as well as being completely unisex! – and lingers a little without overwhelming.

Overall an amazing cream that moisturises exceptionally well and smells great!

  18. Mendo Shutaro

A review from the wife… This is a rich, luxurious moisturiser. It has a smooth texture that absorbs well into the skin. It is sold as a rescue butter, to be used on sore or dry parts of the skin. I have used these to moisturise my hands and my hands feel very soft. The lemon smell is absolutely gorgeous and feels very fresh. It comes in quality packaging. It is a bit expensive however I would use this occasionally for skin that needs extra nourishment rather than daily use. I think this would make for a nice treat for yourself or someone else.

  19. Budding Artist

This is a multi use balm. You can use on your face and any dry area such as lips, elbows and knees. It works fantastically. I mainly used on my hand. My hands are pretty dry after everyday housework. This is super nourishing, buttery texture, lovely scent. Worth buying
